A Beginner Friendly Low Volume Quilt

8 / 4 / 152 / 18 / 22

My husband soon learned this hobby was going to stick around for a while. He started talking about buying me a new sewing machine. Garage Sale Edition #2: A Reupholstered Bench

7 / 30 / 15

Last summer I found this bench at our neighbor’s garage sale. Is that proper neighbor etiquette? To buy home decor from your neighbor? I also bought my big white ‘R’ from my next door neighbor. I guess I like their tastes. 🙂 I bought this bench for $5.00. It was too inexpensive to pass up.… Read More

7 / 28 / 157 / 15 / 17

Over a year ago, I was at Jo Ann’s Fabrics looking to buy a triangle ruler. I loved all the triangle quilts showing up all over Pinterest. As I was browsing at Jo Ann’s, I asked one of the employees if she had any tips for sewing triangles. She had some not so kind words… Read More

Numbers 6:24-26 Free Printable

7 / 3 / 1511 / 21 / 16

Last week at church my pastor referenced a prayer in the book of Numbers. He talked about praying it over his children every night. After nights of praying this prayer over and over, his son would start requesting it saying, “daddy, peace, daddy, peace.” My husband and I can completely relate. Our sons says, “daddy, song,… Read More
